Qpod 007 ::: Raydeus

06.01.2008

Download | Duration: 00:49:59

A staple of the San Francisco underground scene and co-founder of the Pronoia DJ collective, Raydeus has been rocking parties in the Bay Area since the early ‘00s.

Starting out as a downtempo/dub/chill DJ, he soon switched gears and took aim at the dancefloor. His sound quickly solidified as the roaring breakbeat-electro-techfunk hybrid it is today. He’s also been known to drop techno, drum ‘n bass or dubstep on a whim. After you listen to this exclusive Qpod mix, check out www.Raydeus.com and download tons of other mixes. As with most musical experiences, though, it’s better in person than recorded.

The Pronoia crew throws underground parties and renegades throughout the year (two are coming up this fall), which always deliver hard dirty beats and uber positive vibes.

Raydeus will be spinning in SF at Shine on June 7 along with special guests Evinrude and Hypnotech.  You can also catch Raydeus playing at Breakbeat Booty at Temple on June 20.
